Robert Larsson’s Success Story
2019 is a special year in Yieldbird’s history as we celebrate our 10th anniversary as a trusted partner in programmatic monetization. Over the years, a few things have changed within Yieldbird. From being founded as an ad network that provided a CPC widget service to publishers to the 2016 transformation into a yield optimization service company. No matter which type of business we were, our commitment to publishers has been the same – to be recognized worldwide as the best programmatic monetization partner.
We are very proud of what we have achieved during these past 10 years and look forward to the next chapter in our journey of providing publishers with the best optimization services in the industry.
How has it happened that Robert has joined us?
As part of achieving the ambitious goals we have set for ourselves, we have recently hired a new Chief Revenue Officer. From this August, we are happy to welcome Robert Larsson into this new role.
As Yieldbird’s new CRO, Robert is responsible for all revenue-related activities within the company and will be managing a number of teams, ranging from our Marketing and Sales teams to Optimisation and Customer Success activities.
With Robert’s background, which includes nearly 20 years of international experience from sales, product management, and various managerial positions, combined with his vast knowledge about the digital and programmatic advertising market, we are sure that he is the right person in right place at the right time.

Robert’s career path
Robert got his first taste of international experience when he went to study at Webber International University in the USA. Upon graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, he gained his first job as Account Manager in Sweden for EcoWin, providing macroeconomic data and services to the financial industry.
He quickly gained the trust and opportunity to open the company’s first office in North America, where he was promoted to Managing Director.

After having spent 3 years in New York, Robert later moved on to other international assignments, such as working as a Sales Manager in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he was responsible for launching and establishing his employers’ sales-related activities on the sub-Saharan market.
Later, he moved to Tokyo where he worked as a Regional Sales Manager with responsibility for, again, the organization of sales and marketing efforts across the entire Asian region.
Based out of Sweden, Robert worked, amongst various companies and positions, as a Senior Sales Manager at WideOrbit, who is the leading provider of advertising management software for media houses. Thanks to his combination of sales, product and managerial experiences, we are confident Robert will be able to assist Yieldbird in our next phase of expansion.
So how did it transpire that Robert joined Yieldbird?
Having worked with the team at Yieldbird in the past while my time at WideOrbit, I was always impressed by their commitment to excellence, their hard-work and the extensive, in-depth, programmatic knowledge the company possessed. When the management team approached me and outlined their plans and vision for the future, the decision to join and to take part in this journey was quite easy.
With Yieldbird’s holistic approach to optimization and pricing, combined with the team’s deep knowledge and understanding of the programmatic industry, I strongly believe Yieldbird is perfectly positioned to help publishers achieve their programmatic goals, both now and in the future.
